Hello everyone,
my kids noticed that we have too many knights but not many women, which led to very few happy couples. :P
To get more women was no problem - well, sometimes yes, a bit of variety was difficult to find - but what profession should they have? "Of course", they said, "knights too"!
So, we got ourselves a new project.
Here are Lady Eagle and Lady Falcon:

Those are great! Love the custom heraldry ones, wonderful work!

Thanks, Tim! Unfortunately my pics didn’t last long on that photobucket-thing, I misread the information about 3rd party hosting. But now I solved the problem - I hope - loading them to another website. Now I can post more pics! :camera:

They look great. :)

Good to see them here - they are great!
I love the custom decals..
Here are Lady Eagle and Lady Falcon:
I STILL don't know how you managed a roman neckpiece on a woman. If I remember ::) I will RECHECK again..
Lady Stag:
Interesting idea, the neckpiece backwards... Looks good from the front like that. By now everyone knows I don't like the armors that cover the face, right? :-[
Thanks for sharing!

I like how Lady Bear's armpieces and helmet make her look bearish. :camera:

They look great, those are some amazing customs.

Thanks Tahra! :) The custom decals are not easy to "design", we use gimp, but it takes some time. Then we need to print them on a local copy shop, the only one in town that allows to print on those sattleford papers, because we don't own a laser printer (yet, says I ;D).

There's no secret: we had a duo-pack 5815 and used the Dragon-Knight-parts for this lady Falcon (and some Unicorn-parts for the Lady Unicorn, btw). The head, torso and inlet are from this multiplay figures we get with DS - there was a dressage-riding-lady torso in red, almost the same color as the legs. Somehow, it worked.
see you

Thanks, Macruran! Thanks, Rhalius!
Here the missing portraits of the first three Ladies:
(so that you can see Lady Falcon better too, Tahra!)

The dragon heraldry looks great! I like how you used the fire from the shield for the pennant! That one is my favourite so far. ;)

What I don't get is that I tried a bunch of roman neckpieces on one of those torsos, and it just doesn't work.. I mean, you have to really force the neckpiece open to get it on a female torso..
I went through that when I made my female legion.. had to use the other neckpieces cause those didn't fit :(
Maybe you did get a "defective" neckpiece.. in the good way!

Hello,
a wonderful idea you have had here ! It's really a nice gallery of creations.
I like the association with animals.Lady Bear is my favourite , and I like your picture.
I think you have done excellent choice for the heads.
Thank for sharing

Thanks! I always liked that shield so much, but first didn't know how to include it "our" heraldry centered on animals… The mythical creatures got me the answer – dragon=spit fire, problem solved! :)

Yes, some “defective” parts can be really helpful :) I believe your expertise, and maybe one day I will find out what the heck is wrong with that neckpiece… :eh?:
I like the association with animals.
Me too! All kids love animals, as it should be, and our kids always liked the knights with animal heraldry the most. Of course lions are a highlight, PM knows that too… But the animal kingdom offers so many custom opportunities :lens:
