Interesting to see the modern fire brigade helmet and brown uniform appear. I'll have to buy some of those and spare helmets for some of my current firefighters.
9802, the hose drying tower is a bit specialist but will no doubt sell well in Germany. 9803, fire station doors, will please those who want to update their fire stations to the latest design.
9804 looks to have some sort of insert in the recycling skip to hold the flames and it looks as if the hose propels "water".
The two tone axe is a nice and long overdue addition rather than the all red or all silver version.

Not part of what I collect but that green troll in set 6593 looks amazing. My kind of troll, tall and dumb looking. :love:
The tree with swing in set 6575 will come in handing for a western country farm front yard.

Dwarf army building sets are definitely cool. The fat single one (6587) has a great body. :love:
Fat ghost pirate 6591 is also adorable - should we believe that the theme is making a return?

I was hoping that the re-issues would continue even though they closed the PCC, but maybe I was being optimistic....

Looks like they're going to focus on dwarves and fairies instead.

Some interesting things there, three new shields. Not really any new animals I think, all reissues it seems.
I like the dark green troll but why oh why isn't the other one red?? It's such an obvious choice I just don't understand why they haven't done it yet.
I like the bus stop, could use a few of those.
The new multiplay figures seem pretty boring to me.
The large camping grill is nice to see again as are some of the scenery pieces.
Kind of love the dumpster fire.
Happy to see the jade skull again, I liked that part and wanted more but didn't really have any extra of the figure at the time.
The safari jeep is a great color.
Nice to see the beehive again, that never made it to some export markets so hopefully now it will.

Hmm... Not much I´m interested in.
These DS dwarfs aren´t that attractive to me, they don´t have useful parts for Renaissance-era customising.
The Ghost-Pirates are back, a little updated. Maybe it´s Salazar ´s revenge?
And - as I feared they would do after the PCC closure - they seem to have shutdown the re-relase line of classic sets, unless some important pics are not public yet.

It was good while it lasted, though the OP in the original thread mentions a possible reissue of the Steck barn???
Did they release all the old houses? I'm not even sure what I bought and have in storage.
Also a pity for the old Merry Men reissues. But oh well.

I stand (or actually lie down at the moment) corrected on the workshop.
The dwarf king has the wrong sword belt - the sword is hanging down next to his foot. It looks silly.
The gladiators are all mishmash retreads - nothing really novel, though I like Lionman's new shield.
Overall the sets look clean and classic, not much "X-TREEM" tomfoolishness. :paddy:

I get the impression from the set numbers and pictures that these are all the totally new sets for the year. They often bring back old sets under old set numbers as well. The red house from this year is the old 7785 number still. So I have not given up all hope of reissued older sets. We need to see the actual catalog pages to know what's really in and out this year.

I'd like to see a reissue of the white steck house with the brown window frames. They redid the green windows for the tailor but used the black frames from existing sets.

Could be, but could also be reissued Funpark Give-aways, klickies for the Quick-restaurants, etc.

Photos of the catalog pages are up at Klickywelt.
Back this year in Western are the farm house, water tower, and windmill. Gone is the train station.
The red house stays another year, the potters house is gone.
The new sets as previously seen are all there.

I am not a member to that site so I cannot see but can you tell me if the farm house, water tower and windmill are the same set numbers as before or if they have changed?

Worst "new" DS-assortment in many years. ::)
No new yearly "classic edition", they just kept last year´s red frameworkhouse.
As expected since they had been removed from DS-shops last year, the politically-not-correct Western soldiers (Yankees and Confederates) are gone.
"Normal" pirates and the soldiers of that era are gone too, now there´s just the new batch of ghostpirates.
The Farmhouse, windmill and watertower from 2 years ago are back and labelled as "new" ::)

The Alphine Outing (aka Merrymen's Hunting Party) didn't last long! I will have to be sure to pick up one of those. I think the Western Train Station was a slow seller. It's great for us collectors but I don't think most parents were willing to pay $80 for it since there's no real Western theme to go with it. I want one but it really seems quite sad without the original figures.
I had better sell my extra Water Tower before it becomes available again!

The Colorado is VERY expensive... I mean, I'd like to get one, but.. we do have a couple, so it is hard to justify that, isn't it? I SHOULD see if I can get a couple of parts from it though.. these neverending part lists :-[

This is my least favorite teepee - not only because it is a lot less detailed but also because of the baseplate, that ... complicates everything..
Still, it's sad to see the western theme so "far from the core".

All geobra needs is for a bunch of people buying Spirit toys to purchase a few of the old western sets. It doesn't matter if the end consumer likes it or not if a few extra units are sold. Their focus is on the new stuff, any add on sets sold is a bonus.
I'm just wondering if they're going to scrap the steck sets again given the lack of new re-releases in ds. They could have put out a wall set or the pirate prison with that wall made of bars.

I fear it is the end, since this year there is no new re-released steck-building and they just kept the framworkhouse from last year with in addition the Colorado station from 2 years ago.
It once started (meanwhile several years ago, before the PCC was born) with the red frameworkhouse and it will probably end with the very same red frameworkhouse, so the circle is round.

I really like the extra firefighters and the uniform colours but notice the new BA sets don’t look like they will fit onto the female torso, will have to check out the playmofriends harness to confirm.
