Hello from Virginia USA
« on: July 08, 2018, 21:50:36 »
Greetings to all! I was able to join today, after a few years of occasionally just looking at some of the things happening here. Playmobil did not exist when I was a child, but it was there for my daughter in the 1990's! Wow!

Being long-time model train fan meant buying a PM 4002 train set, which led me to large scale (LGB, mainly). I especially like the European rolling stock, as it is not typically what we see in the USA. Over time, ebay made possible the purchase of Playmobil electric train items, which are really great for running at displays that are sponsored by our garden rail club (wvmgrs.org, if you want to look around). They are tough and reliable.

More recently, I have been having some fun with the 4020 RC units.

More later. Auf Wiedersehen, aber meine Deutsch ist jetzt aber schlect!

Welcome from Stroud, UK!
Deutsch zu sprechen ist hier nicht nötig!
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)
