Help to stay logged
« on: September 09, 2010, 17:54:18 »
HI PF!!
Can someone help? When I login I choose to stay logged "forever" but everytime I close PF, when I open it again I have to login again.
It doesn't matter in what computer Im in...it is the same at work or at home!. What can I do to stay logged?
Thanx

I think it is just you,
I don't have that problem. :hmm:

Do you have it set to erase history every time you close your browser?
That would do it.
Steck is BACK! <:>

I think so yes.
BUt this logging out wouldn't have to do with the cookies? Don't know much about this.
I never touch the cookies....

I often get rid of all the cookies by hand; I look at them and just do not delete the ones I want to keep.

I think WoT has it. It sounds like your browser is emptying the cookies after you close the window. It needs to have those in order to recognise the website when you return.

Each browser is slightly different so you may have to poke around in the Tools menu to find which settings need tweaking.

For example, this is where to find it in Internet Explorer
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
Security
Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed - uncheck
