Hello from Belgium!
« on: October 10, 2017, 18:24:02 »
My name is Bart and been a Playmobil fan since childhood.
What I remember is as a child I used to play with these rubber bendable figures.
Later there was this brand Play Big which I owned a few sets from.  Then Playmobil
arrived at the scene and I vividly remember bothering my mum at the store to get some single Klickies.
Me and my sister got some sets from my grandmother and aunt too :-)

Years later I would try to get some of those child hood memories by starting a collection.  I am only interested in the vintage sets.  I have collected some of them and some are rare and hard to find.  I helped out with the Playmobil Collectors book where you can find some pictures of some of my boxes.

So that is my story in a nut shell.

Welcome aboard from... Belgium!

So, then you have been around as Playmobil-collector for many years, since you helped out with Axel´s Playmobil Collector books?
And are you on other forums as well, Klickywelt maybe?

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

Welcome, Bart.  What a wonderful collection!

Welcome from the Netherlands.

Especially the medieval sets where already very good from the beginning I feel, they have many civilians too and lots of buildings, allowing for beautifull diorama's with only classic stuff.

At the time, I was on collectobil.  It has been a while, I was actually looking for that site but is no longer available.  I seem to remember your name from somewhere.  :)  No, no other forums.

Yeah, been a collector for some years now, only MIB in sealed bag. I haven't been active for a while due to personal reasons.

Yeah, true.  They put out amazing sets in those days.  I liked them all, but western and police sets where my favorites   :D
