Can anyone help with part number?
« on: February 10, 2018, 15:29:02 »
I got some helmets in a bag from a car boot sale, these http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30+05+55+20 but the ones I have are luminous/Fluorescent yellow, does anybody know the part number?

Thanks, Stuart.

Could you post a picture, Stuart?   Also, they may be a repaint.

Not the best pic, the one in the middle is the helmet in question shown with a white and normal yellow.
Had a look while I was cleaning and it`s been moulded in that colour of plastic

I suspect it is just a colour variation.

There is a bike racing set that has an "odd yellow" helmet: 3779 (playmodb link)

And a ski race - I believe that is not "normal" yellow: 3717 (playmodb link)

"Neon yellow" in the ski set suggests that's the one.

Yes, when I read this I thought of those two sets, but then I forgot to check. I have both sets.  :-[

IF I remember, I will tomorrow..  ::)

Thanks Tahara for the links, I think the helmet is from 3779, the one from the ski set has the groove for goggles, the helmet I have doesn't.

Now to check if they are available from the spares department, if so I see a couple of custom klickys in my future.

Stuart.

Ah, yes, you're right!

And I remembered the helmet pics (with a yellow one to compare):
