Well.. IF it popped the new ones (I mean the starved fairies and Spirit weirdos..)

Other than that.. very limited - I suppose no neckpieces allowed..   I think it would be useful for speedos (I have a hard time with those, cause they don't really have where to grab :-[ )

I also wonder if it would work well on older klickys (the "stiffer" ones)..

I suppose the final version will be faster - seems to have some sort of lever - because in the video, it is very slow..

If it was 20 years ago, I would RUN for one... now...

On Klickywelt I read these were already around about 15 years ago ...

Here is a link to a video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWao0RY0ZWg (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWao0RY0ZWg)

It seems to work by pushing on the (raised) arms, so I think neckwear would not be a problem, though some styles of arms might not fit.

I find the early klickies actually easier to pull apart (I can do most of those by simply tugging on the head), but ones with the white skeletons nigh on impossible without a rubber band.

The design shown in the video might be easier to operate one-handed I think, whereas the one with a handle to wind might be trickier, I'd like to hear from someone who has tried both. But having to wind the thing back again every time (either model) would be a bit annoying!

There is an email address at the end of the video. If I find out more I will add here.

I struggle with the fat klickies so it would be useful for those.

The video shown shows no collars but it looks like the gripper part leaves a gap around the neck so it might be possible. You could also shave the gripper to give more space for any collar. The hands on method works though.

I had no response and I used my best Google Translate Spanish. Perhaps I inadvertently accused someone's mother of being a walking stick?

Probably the worst thing you could do!  :)

Just a warning: my Kekokrak collapsed after 4 or 5 dissections! :hissyfit:

The piece holding the klicky's head cracked on both sides:

Now the head can move over the critical point and thus the klicky escapes decapitation, even when the nut is maximally fastened:

The head-holding part clearly is too weak and should have been manufactured out of metal. :sherlock:

Not happy with my purchase after all. :'(

Did you contact them?

You should..

I agree, you should at least ask for a replacement. There seem to be signs of plastic fatigue on that last picture. I wonder if some colours are weaker?
I'm still waiting for mine, I hope I won't be disappointed!

I received mine as well (via the links I posted in this topic). The delivery was supposed to be in 3 weeks, but I received mine after 1 week already! So far it works great, but I still have to test it on klickies with coats.

UPDATE: doesn't work for klickies with coats.

Looks a fragile gadget to me. Home-made 3D-printed plastic with a non-industrial printer?

Ah! I never thought of that. I wonder if there is any way of reinforcing it before use, with a metal band perhaps? When mine arrives, I will experiment.....

This tool looks horrible if you ask me and cheap quality, no surprise it breaks easily. I wouldn't get it even if it was free , don't want to decapitate my klickies anyways !!!  :o

Posted this in the PROCESS, but better here too.

Like I said, I don't find this very useful for the "normal" klickys (including speedos), because I have my own methods now (between the popper, whacking and yanking..  :P ), much faster...

However, I thought this would be useful for me for the weirdos.  I was sent a KekoKrak v2, and finally I tried it with a couple of these (I had popped a speedo before, just to see it work with some friends ;) )

So, decided to pop a super 4 fairy and one of the spirit weirdos..

Unfortunately, doesn't work with fixed hair... I hadn't thought of that... I suppose it's a duh. I have no idea how this can be solved.

Amazingly, I managed to yank her head just pulling (I believe it must have been somehow messed up - tried others and I couldn't :( )

Then, found out this one already existed in a different version (we don't know the series, so, first come, first stays) - this one to change.

Worked fine. But it CRAAAAAACKED mightily. I was afraid I had broken something... But didn't ;D

EEK.

And there:

I think this is a useful tool to add to the available methods. I cannot comment on durability, since I only popped a couple... but it did work fine for those...

And like I said before.. if I didn't know how to pop them.... I'd FREAKIN KILL for one of these! >:D
