Yeah, let's not bring up that argument. 8}

This is of course a question for Sylvia, but I would think it might be somewhat difficult to do.

I noticed that the one to the profile on the bottom is redundant because your avatar name is in blue making it also a link to your profile. so there is a spot

I have no use for the twitter link and I rarely use the others but I may just start with some of the others, it is a shortcut after all. What about if we could choose where it went and its logo so if I wanted to make it a link to my pcc account and if someone wanted it to go to twitter or tileshop or  facebook or personal store, or music group, or etc.....
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

myself i'm a pretty experienced administrator, due to this i know it's pretty easy to do in most forumsoftware by use of modifications.
These are mostly pretty straight forward and easy to install.

The twitter profile field is just one possibility, there are numerous other options.
You could allready please a link to your pcc account, this could be done through the website/url field in your profile  ;)

Thank you, Bonnie, for directing me to this topic. :)

I have just installed a new package which will allow you to add any of the following links to your profile:

Facebook
MySpace
Twitter
Google+
LinkedIn
Youtube
DeviantArt
Pinterest

As always, please make sure that anything you link to outside PF is family-friendly and non-commercial.

In essence it's quite true that you can upload countless modifications to a forum. But problems can happen when these mods conflict with each other, as I've found when trying to create separate pages that link to the main menu. And if the person who creates the mod doesn't keep it updated when new versions of smf are released, then it can often stop working and cause inconvenience to the people who have become accustomed to having it as a "standard" feature. This is the main reason I try to keep the forum's structure as close to the original as possible.

Because this is an unofficial modification created by a fan and not the smf developers, there is the small chance it will cause errors in the forum system. If this happens, I will have to uninstall it and try something else. ;)

I agree, that's why i'm not so fond of smf. It's nice and simple, but that's it. vB and Phpbb are more loaded with basic and advanced features. Anyway, as always with modifications: it's always a gamble. LOL (i know first hand ....) but most of the times it turns out good.
